1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of the AIRA Health Check at check.airiskaware.com (the service), including the free assessment and the paid one-off document packs. The service is operated by AIRiskAware (we, us, our). By using the service or buying a pack, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

We may update these terms from time to time; changes take effect when posted to this page. The version date below tells you when they last changed.

2. The free Health Check

The Health Check is a free, self-service assessment. Your answers are processed in your browser and are not stored on our servers unless you ask us to help; the report is generated on your own device. What we do and do not collect is set out in our Privacy statement.

The assessment maps your answers to a subset of Australian AI-governance obligations and produces a board-ready report. It is a starting point for understanding your exposure, not a complete compliance review.

3. Not legal or professional advice

The assessment, the report, and every document generated by the paid packs are general information only. They do not constitute legal, regulatory, financial, or professional advice, and using the service does not create an advisory, solicitor-client, or any other professional relationship.

The documents are templates built from your answers and are intended to be reviewed and adapted with your own judgement. Bracketed fields and ownership details are deliberately left for you to complete. Before adopting any document or acting on the report, obtain advice from a qualified professional familiar with your organisation, sector, and jurisdiction. Where your exposure is high or a regulator is involved, engage a qualified adviser.

4. The paid packs

We offer one-off document packs (currently the Pro Pack, the Control Pack, and the CPS 230 AI Vendor Readiness Pack). Each purchase covers one organisation. A pack is a set of documents generated in your browser from your assessment answers; you may regenerate them on your device as your answers change.

Access is linked to the email address used to purchase. Entering that email on your report unlocks document generation for the pack you bought, on any device. Do not share your access with other organisations. Prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5. Licence to use the documents

On purchase, we grant your organisation a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use, adapt, and internally reproduce the documents generated for you for your own governance, compliance, and board purposes.

The underlying templates, the obligation library, and the generation engine remain our intellectual property. You may not resell, redistribute, or repackage the templates or library as a competing product, or use them to provide a document-generation service to third parties, without our written permission.

6. Guarantee and your consumer rights

We offer a 14-day make-it-right guarantee: if a pack is not what you expected, tell us within 14 days and we will make it right.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where we are permitted to limit our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant pack or refunding the price you paid for it.

7. Accuracy and changes to the library

We maintain the obligation library against primary sources and update it as instruments commence and standards are amended. Even so, AI-governance requirements are complex and change frequently, and we cannot guarantee that all content is current, complete, or accurate at the time you read or generate it.

Always verify regulatory information against primary sources and qualified advice before relying on it for a decision.

8. Limitation of liability

Subject to section 6, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss, or for any regulatory penalty, business loss, or compliance failure, arising from your use of the service or reliance on the report or the generated documents.

Subject to section 6, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant pack (or, for the free assessment, to AUD $100).

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: do not attempt to disrupt it, circumvent access controls, scrape or reverse-engineer the library or engine, or use it unlawfully. We may suspend access that breaches these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
